OUR SERVICES
“Direct instruction of reading differentiates instruction. It encourages participation and feedback. It builds self-esteem, self-reliance and self-control. It rewards perseverance, honors high expectations and respects diversity. It shuns labels. It makes learning fun. It is rocket fuel for the gifted and a lifeline for the poor.”

WE TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR CHILD!
DIRECT INSTRUCTION TRAINING
We offer training in the Direct Instruction Method of teaching reading for teachers, paraprofessionals, building substitutes, youth organization staff, and child care instructors. These trainings take place in the educational institution or by on-line courses.
INSTRUCTIONAL STRATEGIES
All children can be taught. Instructional delivery, how to teach reading, determines success in teaching and learning. The instructional strategies taught are aligned with the Direct Instruction Method that emphasizes well-developed and carefully planned lessons designed around small learning increments and clearly defined and prescribed teaching tasks. These encompass explicit, systematic, intentional modeling, and immediate feedback as instructional strategies in teaching phonemic awareness, phonics, blending and word reading, and comprehension.
